CA Estimated Taxes why only three payments

When I printed my 2021 CA Return from Turbo Tax Premium there were only Payments 1, 2 and 4.  Why is there no Payment 3 which used to be due September 15, 2022?

There is no longer an amount due for California estimated payment #3. 

 

As per the State of California, the tax payments are due in the following manner:

  • Payment #1 - 30% due April 15
  • Payment #2 - 40% due June 15
  • Payment #4 - 30% due January 15

Lena, many thanks for the prompt response.  I thought the 3 payment model was just during the pandemic and did not realize it was permanent.   You ROCK!
