Bug in TT re RMA

I am using TT desktop Deluxe 2024.

I have entered my IRA withdrawal information, and got to the page on RMDs.   It asks whether this withdrawal was an RMD for 2024.  I check Yes.

Then it asks how much of this was an RMD, and I input the exact amount of the RMD required including cents:  for instance, 1000.67.

On the next page, it asks what the required minimum distribution for 2024, and I enter the same figure as the previous page, including cents: for instance, 1000.67.

The page then ROUNDS UP the amount I put in as RMD to the next full dollar (for instance, 1001.), meaning that the amount I entered in the previous page is LESS than the RMD put here, which means TT thinks I have not withdrawn enough to meet my RMD.

The worksheets are trying to get your taxes done correctly and rounding is part of the process. Enter a required RMD that is smaller so the program is not trying to tax you. This is not part of your tax return. This is programming to determine your tax liability. Enter any amount less than your RMD since you took the full amount.
