Bug in latest version? Misc Income total won't show under Income Summary section

I have the latest version of Turbotax Premier.  I have added a bunch of misc income under the Digital assets not reported anywhere else section.  In past versions, when this was done, the total of the Misc income is displayed in the Income Summary section.  In this 2024 version, it shows the Misc Income total from 2023 but the 2024 column displays zero.  When I had added the total, my Federal Tax Due increased as expected so it appears the program correctly processed the entry BUT its not showing the total.  Is this a problem and/or how to fix it?

As long as your Miscellaneous Income is showing properly on your Income Tax return, then it is fine. Your Income Summary is not submitted to the IRS. You can check this by looking at your Schedule 1 and your Form 1040.

Miscellaneous income is reported on Schedule 1 on line 8 and on line 8 of your Form 1040.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can view this as follows:

  1. Switch to Forms Mode, and then  (see screenshots below for additional guidance)
  2. Scroll through your forms in the left panel and
  3. Click on the form you want to preview (Example Form 1040 & Schedule 1)

You can get to your Tax Return in TurboTax Online as follows:

  1. Go to "Tax Tools" in your left panel,
  2. Select "Tools" and then
  3. Select "View Tax Summary" and
  4. Select "Preview Form 1040"

In TurboTax Desktop to switch to "Forms Mode" it will look like this:

Your left panel (list of forms) will look something like this:

In TurboTax Online it will look like this:
