box 14 has a number and amount, what is the "description" to enter, dollar value is different too from w-2 vs auto-filled?

Box 14 is an indicator of something your employer wants to tell you - so you have to ask your employer what this or that box 14 code means. That is, the IRS does not set up a giant list of standard codes, so the employer can just make them up (although payroll companies like ADP do tend to standardize them somewhat).

 

What is "auto-filled"? Do you mean that you auto-imported the W-2? Since TurboTax did not create the data packet for the W-2, we can't always guarantee that they did it right so there can be import errors. So are you saying that you have a copy of the W-2 and it isn't the same as what you see in TurboTax?

 

The simplest thing is to just delete the W-2 (see the Delete button or the trash can icon), and re-enter it by hand.

 

Or if you meant something else entirely, come back and clarify it for me.
