You are posting from desktop software--is that what you are really using? If so, you can prepare and e-file up to 5 federal returns, and you should have the state software to prepare returns for one specific state. The only extra fee in desktop software is for e-filing a state return. That will cost $24.99, but you can avoid the state e-file fee by printing and mailing the state.. If you need an additional different state program, then that is an extra fee to add a different state.
