Before filing, I want to have the IRS calculate any underpayment penalty. How do I do this in TurboTax?

You can check if your penalty is included by looking at line 79 of your Form 1040.

To do so:

1.       Go to Tax Tools on the left-hand side.

2.       Go to Tools.

3.       Go to View Tax Summary.

4.       Click Preview my 1040 from the left-hand side.

I would like to submit my taxes without the penalty and let the IRS determine if I owe the penalty.  In years past I have been able to do this by unchecking a box C on the form where the penalty is calculated. Can I still do this with Turbo Tax?
