Because of a delay, my 1st PUA unemployment payment was received on Jan. 6th 2021. This means I don't claim any unemployment income for the 2020 calendar year, correct?

I received an email from the state on 12/30/2020 stating my PUA claim was finally approved and was being processed. But no payment was wired to my account until after Jan. 1st 2021.

Unemployment income is reported on form 1099-G.  If you did not receive any unemployment payments in 2020 then you will not receive a 1099-G.

In addition, based on the information you provided I do not believe you received Constructive Receipt of income in 2020.
