Audit Protection / Audit Defense purchase popup blank and broken

Tried restarting, and relaunching multiple times but it gives the same outcome after saving the return: a blank popup with a single light blue button labeled "My Return" and no way to escape or close the window causing me to force quit TurboTax.

Desktop Edition major visual bug

 

TurboTax should hire me to fix their major coding blunder.

Nothing happens when I use a different browser because this is the Desktop edition running on Windows 10.

Non-Browser edition of TurboTax Premier.

Spent an hour on the phone with customer support.

 

The representative had me install w_perrelsuperpatchIS_ttax_2023.exe which failed to resolve this issue.

 

Waiting for the patch to finish he told me to call back if the issue persists and proceeded to close the case before it was resolved while still screen sharing.

It's still connecting to a browser to complete a payment. I would change your default browser and try again. You could also pay over the phone if that is easier.

It's not connecting to any site look at the image I started the thread with...

If I click the "My Refund" button it gives me an Intuit account login page. However, I do not want to pay with the return. Also, that dialog is malformed too with no way to close it.

It does seem to change the outcome but it's still not user friendly.

If you click Order History you should be prompted with the option to pay for Audit Defense. Can you tell me if that works?

Running TurboTax as a standard user and as Administrator gave the same result of a garbled popup window when viewing Order History.

Did you block out some of the pop-up or is this what it actually looks like?

Only cropped the top part of the main Window, the rest is unaltered. That's exactly how it looks for me.

And this is persistent between reboots and program launches.
