Are people actually dumb enough to pay turbo tax? this service is a scam!! go to any other service and get a much better deal. Also the IRS site is free under 65k

Just to give a little insight. I had a 1099-G, and several other forms I had to fill out. Using "free tax usa" only cost me $12 bucks... turbo tax wanted $110 and reduced it to $60 when i complained.

I am sorry you are having trouble with TurboTax.  The free edition is pretty limited:

 

 If you answer yes to any of these question, you qualify:

• Is your adjusted gross income (AGI) $36,000 or less?
• Were you active duty military in 2019 with an AGI of $69,000 or less?
• Do you qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EIC)?

To switch to IRS Free File Program delivered by TurboTax.

1. Sign out of your existing TurboTax account.
2. Go to the IRS Free File delivered by TurboTax website and sign in to your same account from there.
3. Select Yes, switch to IRS Free File Program delivered by TurboTax when asked, and Continue.

 

I just did my taxes in much less time than your service took me, I only had to do it once, and it only charged me $12. I got back the same amount of money but paid a lot less and they did ALL of my forms.

 

It was also a lot more clear and easier to read. I'm not going to promote another business on your site, but you're clearly making things frustrating so people will just give you money. This service is clearly a scam.

 

edit: You're also trying to tell me to sign out and go to a different site in order to get free service. You don't make it very clear, which is exploiting people. You should be ashamed.
