I am reading that legally we only have until the 15th and turbotax really isn't doing anything to fix this. I can't get a hole of anyone from turbo tax or the IRS for answers.

No none of this solved my problem and trying to get anyone or anything to help from turbotax has been nothing but a headache. Been a customer for seven years. Not anymore!!!
We are happy to share that stimulus payments for those impacted by an IRS error will begin to be deposited starting January 8th. We expect most payments to be available that day, but your bank could take a few business days to process. Your payment will be deposited into the same bank account where you received your 2019 tax refund.

Also, if for any reason, you do not get the stimulus payment by the 15th, you will be able to claim the credit on your 2020 tax return. You will get all of the payments you qualify for.
