What is Form 1095-B: Health Coverage

The details of your 1095-B are not entered into the federal interview in TurboTax.  You simply indicate that you were covered for the months you were covered by a plan that issues 1095-B.   Only 1095-As get entered.

You will need a 1099-HC if you are filing a resident MA state return.  Mass.gov - Health care reform for individuals

Some people who get the federal 1095-B form do not need to get the MA 1099-HC. If the 1099-HC was not in your envelope, you do not need it to fill out your state income tax return.
