An old EIN number currently used for a Trust tax return...first time Filing this trust return, the EIN is many years old, will the return be accepted as a mail in return?

A very  old EIN number currently used for a current Trust tax return...first time Filing this trust return, the EIN is many years old, had to mail it in, wouldn't be accepted via electronically, as have never filed before,  will the return be accepted as a mail in return with an EIN number that was issued many years ago and never used?

You can mail the tax return.   Those numbers (EINs) do not expire, so unless you elected to have the IRS deactivate the number in the past, the EIN will be accepted on your mailed trust tax return.
