Am I supposed to put that I had a child even if I'm not the one claiming her?

I had a baby in November and my boyfriend is the one that is claiming her because I guess it's law for the person who makes more money to claim them. So am I still supposed to add her to my taxes?

Hello! Only one person can claim a child as a dependent.  Once the child's social security number is used on a return, it can not be used again in the same tax year.
