All my files are on an external drive and cannot be on drive C. Turbotax does not recognize at all the mapped drives on my PC. How do I access mapped drives?

When you need to load previous year cannot load previous year. They are on external drive mapped through a drive letter. This is not uncommon.

TurboTax does recommend that you keep the tax files on your main computer to open it and the steps are detailed in this link.
