AGI not accepted

My 2018 return keeps getting rejected by E-File because of my 2017 AGI. I enter exactly from my TT form 1040, so I don't understand why it's being rejected. I really need to complete my taxes because my Student Loans Repayment Plan requires tax returns. My husband printed them and filed by snail mail, but I'm not sure when they'll be processed.

Please help!

If you filed your 2017 return late or amended it, then the 2017 AGI did not make it into the system, so your 2018 return was being rejected even if you were using the 2017 AGI as shown on your 2017 tax return.  You could have tried using zero in order to e-file 2018.  But now you say that you have printed and mailed the 2018 return, so it is too late to e-file.  If you e-file now, it will just confuse the IRS and delay your refund.

All that you can do now is wait for the IRS to process your mailed 2018 return.

When you mail your tax return, wait about 4 weeks and then check the IRS site:

TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 20a of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
