After import of 1009s I noticed the paer name is diff than on my paper or online 1099 form. So I went to update the name to match the form except cant on the 1099B.

So I guess the main question is does the payer name have to match the paper form or is the imported name fine. TIN from the payer is fine and accurate for the instutions.

You should be able to Edit the Payer Name in FORMS mode on the 1099-B Worksheet.

If not, however, as long as the TIN is correct, it shouldn't be an issue.
