Until the IRS processes the original return you can to NOTHING ... and even after it is processed you will NOT amend it for that situation. Next tax year you will simply use the new name and SS# on your return.
Now it is possible that they will not accept the return with the old name/number if the new one has been issued but you will have to wait and see. Only if they remove the child on the file return will you be able or need to amend it.
