Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) to verify your identity, if negative, do I enter it as negative? For example, -1678.

First try entering $0 and if that does not work enter the negative number to submit your return.

Thanks Cass, for your reply. I was surprised how little info there is online for what I think is the situation for many filers. Anyway FWIW I first used the AGI negative number as it appears on the previous return, and it was accepted.

Interesting I used an amount of zero for my negative agi. And, my return was accepted.
