According to Uber, I'm suppose to be able to file the self employed for free, but it appears I will still be charged. How do I get the 119.99 charge off of my account?

If you go through uber partners link I was able to wave 119 charge but still I had to pay

charge for  california 44.99.

So my total charge was 44.99 and had to pay some TAX...
