A suggestion and not a question. When backing up or editing for the purposes of review, TurboTax often deletes many information fields which have to be re-entered. Pain!

Yes.  I know the 1099R does that.  Don't know where else.

 

If you edit or review a 1099R it does not keep your answers from before but resets them to the defaults. Then you have to go through and answer them all again.   So be sure to go all the way to the end of the 1099R section.  They are right unless you go back.

This has been a never-ending issue with various sections in the program, since I started using TurboTax in 2003.

Easy fix ... finish a section before you save it and then do NOT revisit it.
