8 yrs. I was head of house hold with two dependents I got married august 2016 and planing filling married jointly do I still get the education credit for my dependents?

You are still eligible for your deductions and credits when filing jointly. You can still include your dependents on your joint return as long as they qualify as dependents. When you file separately is when you would forfeit most of those deductions and credits. Let us know if you need more help.
