No, you have to start all over. If you tried to download 2023 into 2024 after you had already started 2024, TurboTax would not be able to figure out which 2023 things to use instead of 2024 things.
Just start over and reimport 2023.
I was trying to avoid having to re-enter all the data. That is a major flaw in your application and this may be the last time I use Turbo Tax ( which I have used for the last ten years) . I should at least be able to use "edit" to enter 2023 data.
I was already forced to reload the app along with re-entering my license number when it would not download the 2023 return at the very beginning. I sent a note that it wasn't working and was told I would be notified when it was fixed ( a known bug) but never received a notification.
