2022 Tax Return rejected

I did not receive a letter from the IRS stating that I must file Form 8862.  What should I do then?
The Education Expenses posted in my TR are books and others (they were required) that my wife bought while attending Collin College for her BSN degree. I do not think I should claim "American Opportunity Credit" (I have already claimed it in the past years, and last year IRS rejected my claim for that deduction), but how should I handle those expenses? I did not receive Form 1098 for Collin College, but I have the list of items with the receipts.

If you’re not aware of receiving an IRS notice requesting that you file Form 8862, but your return has been rejected because of the supposed need for the form with your e-filed submission, then by all means input Form 8862.

Even if you file your return on paper, the IRS’s Master File system will show the same requirement, and they’d request you submit the form while halting the processing of your return.

Please see the TurboTax Help article What is e-file reject F1040-164-01? for guidance.
