2019 Home & Business Edition Problem. Itemized Deduction not available due to IRS not having the form.

I am trying to complete my 2019 filing but the message I have from the software is saying that IRS is still preparing amortization for itemized deduction therefore form 1040 Schedule A, C & E are not available. I couldn't complete the tax form at this point.  

 

Anyone have an idea what is going on  and when that might be fixed?

You should update your software.  Click Online in the top menu, then Check for Updates.

Thanks for answering.

 

I did check it.  My TT is up to date.  I just keep getting the msg that those Schedule C, A, & E forms will be "ready soon"

 

Is that what is really happening at the IRS?

No, your program should have all the forms.  Are you on Windows?  

 

If your program says it's up to date or you can't update it then do the Manual Update.  This has fixed the State forms not available problem for some users.
