2018 Indiana IT-40PNR Schedule K -1 withholding

Turbo Tax Premier

I have K-1 income from Indiana. The company is required to withhold and pay to the state. I am able to enter the withholding amount in Turbotax K-1 form, however, it does not transfer anywhere on the return...ie it does not show taxes already paid for me by the company.

Is there some place else to enter withholding of this type? I can't seem to find it.

Thanks! Johann

@johann @mcharest1858  Use the Estimates and Other taxes paid category under Deductions & Credits to enter the amount of withheld taxes on your K-1.

Is this ever going to be fixed?  It's now 2020 and this is still a problem.

State tax withheld is reported in box 13 of the K-1 (partnership) with Code W, or box 12 of the K-1 (S-Corp) with Code S.  If you enter in on the K-1 in the 1040, it will flow to the Tax Payments Worksheet and then to the IN return.

If, however, you have local taxes withheld, they have to be entered manually in the IN return.

If you are using the CD/Download version of TurboTax, you can go into Forms Mode and enter the amount of county taxes withheld on line 13 of the Indiana Tax Payments Worksheet.
