1099SA won't let me file it

If the information you have doesn't match what is showing on your Form 1099-SA, contact the issuer.

 

If you are using a Desktop version of TurboTax and your form was entered incorrectly, you can go to Forms mode, locate the form on the list of forms on the left, and select it. When the form is on the screen, there is a button "Delete Form" at the bottom. You can click to delete the form and then reenter the correct information in Step by Step.

 

To go back to the section of your return to answer the Health Savings Account questions again if you are using TurboTax Online, use the following steps:

• On the top row of the TurboTax Online screen, click on Search (or for CD/downloaded TurboTax locate the search box in the upper right corner)
• This opens a box where you can type in “hsa” (be sure to enter exactly as shown here) and click the magnifying glass (or for CD/downloaded TurboTax, click Find)
• The search results will give you an option to “Jump to hsa”
• Click on the blue “Jump to hsa” link and edit your information

To remove a form entered incorrectly in TurboTax Online:

 

1. Sign in - Continue your/take me to my return
2. Go to My Account (top right), then Tools (opens Tools Center)
3. Delete a form (under Other helpful links)
4. From the Review Form List, delete 1099-SA
