1099-MISC

I am doing TT for my daughter and son-in-law. He worked in sales for several months and received a 1099-MISC for commissions earned. This was his only job at the time while he was in school. When I enter this 1099-MISC, TT continues to move it to the Business section. Then when I check for errors, there are several because I did not enter all info there such as profit and loss, etc.   This was not his business but a job paying commission only.  What am I doing wrong?  This should just add to his income and calculate tax on it because no taxes were withheld.  Any advice would be appreciated!!

I just realized the amount on this 1099-MISC is in box 7- nonemployee compensation. Is that why it is treating it as his business?
