1099-MISC

I'm 17 and get SSA benefits.  I have a w2 and 1099 misc. do I have to claim the 1099? It's going to cost more to file than I'm getting back . It's less than $1100

Yes, you have to include the 1099-MISC form. The IRS also receives a copy of the form and will be looking for it. See if you can file using TurboTax Freedom addition. This is different than TurboTax Free edition.
