1099-MISC received from non-resident state (Colorado) while I live in PA.

I received a 1099-MISC from a Colorado company that I did remote consulting.   Does this count as income from out of state?  Do I have file in Colorado?  Do I tell PA that I earned income from out of state?

No. If you were working in PA, then the income is considered earned in PA. It does not matter where the company is located. It depends on where you were when you delivered services.

For example, as a TurboTax agent, I work from my home in South Dakota. TurboTax is located in California. I do not have to file taxes in CA, as the services were delivered, or earned, from South Dakota.
