1099-INT showing up in Turbo Tax Dividends

I imported 1099's direct from financial company.  1099-INT's are showing up in the dividend section of TurboTax, overstating the amount of dividends so that interest income is basically being counted twice.  How can I remedy this?  If I delete them from the edit section under dividends, will that delete them totally from the system so they will be lost to the interest section where they belong (and are currently showing up as well?

If you delete individual items from Dividends, that will not affect the items entered as Interest.

Once you import data and it's entered in different areas of TurboTax, the data will remain in the areas entered.

In TurboTax Desktop, you can delete imported items as follows: Open your return. From the TurboTax File menu, select Remove Imported Data. Select the item(s) you want to remove and follow the instructions.

See this help article for more information about issues with importing data.
