So, what amount should be written in Form 1099-INT Box 6.d ?

Foreign Tax amounts of less than $600 can be deducted without filing Form 1116.

Thanks Rainman12. In Turbo Tax, if box 6.d (of Form 1099-INT) is left blank, the TT shows it as an error during error check. So, should we write the total amount of interest earned in this box or just type in a zero here. FYI, the total interest earned as well as the tax withheld - both amounts are below $600.

No, you don't Deduct foreign tax paid on Schedule B. Use Form 1116 to get a tax Credit for foreign taxes. Form/instructions:https://www.irs.gov/uac/about-form-1116
