1099-B pencil icon disappeared

I was informed I have to enter information manually after an import from my financial institution, however the transactions do not allow me to edit them. I was able to enter the first line item, but after that the pencil icon disappeared. It won't show even after shutting down and restarting Turbo Tax. I have the desktop version for Mac.

Here are a couple of suggestions to assist.

Please follow the steps in this link to make sure your program is up to date.

If that does not work, you can also use these steps to manually update your program.

Once you have updated your program, log back into TurboTax and follow the steps in this link to get back to your investment sales section of the program.

You should then be able to edit using the little pencil icon to the right of the applicable investment sale.

I have this same exact issue. Were you able to figure it out? In previous desktop versions of TurboTax (i.e. TurboTax 2022) I was able to edit each individual entry after importing them from my financial institution. Now I don't see a pencil icon to edit each one (or a trash can icon to delete an entry if I wanted to)

I figured it out!  After reading this thread from last year (https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/investments-and-rental-properties/discussion/every-1099-b-entry-imported-from-etrade-shows-up-incorrectly-with-adjustment-code-n/00/3196968), I realized that I had to figure out some way to scroll horizontally with the table. It's not obvious, but I ended up selecting some of the text in the table with my mouse and dragging horizontally across the screen so that the pencil and trashcan items showed up on the right.

Hoping this post saves someone from the hour(s) I spent trying to figure it out >.<

Yes, I selected the check box to the left of an entry, then  select the bulk edit button. A real pain, as each entry requires so many clicks....

That's what I started doing initially (checking Bulk Edit), but then I realized that it only allowed me to update a subset of the fields and each line item still read "Needs Review" after. It was really clunky and took quite some time for each line item.

I had to figure out how to scroll to the right of the 'frame' to see the Pencil Icon and trash can icon -- those icons are there, they're just hidden. For some reason maximizing the full TurboTax window doesn't show them.
