1095-A

I am 20yrs old, on my parents 1095-A family plan, and they will claim me as a dependent, but I earned enough that I need to file a separate tax return.  On my tax return, do I enter the 1095-A form?

No, you do not enter the Form 1095-A on your tax return.

Yes, if you and your parents agree to allocate a portion of the plan to you, you will enter information from their 1095-A on your return, in the 1095-A section.  The allocations can be split up in any way you prefer, as long as you agree.  If you disagree, you will be allocated a share proportionate with the number of people on the plan.
