1095-A shared market policy with my child

I need some help.

My child files her tax, but she is also a dependent.

We share a market policy as a family.

Do I click on [I shared this policy with another taxpayer who's not on my tax] although she is a dependent?

(I'm confused with the tax payer example, it says " A person who now claims your child as a dependent on their taxes".  I'm confused with "now". )

And if I click the above checkbox do I allocate the Premium Percentage?

I really appreciate your help.

to properly complete form 8962  you'll need your child's return because the info is needed for line 2b. be sure to read form 8962 instructions to properly calculate line 2b.

the irs lets you split the amounts any way you want in part IV.  if any is allocated to your child your child is going to have to reflect this on her 8962.  your child would need to follow the instructions on line 34

Thank you.

If I see my daughter's return, I don't see 8962 portion, just a simple 1040 because she claims as a dependent.

It maybe a too basic question to ask, but....

If my daughter is listed as a dependent on our return, I don't need to allocate those health plan, is it correct?
