1) How do I edit my daughter's SSN? 2) My husband is foreign and we do not live in the US. I am 'filing separately.' He does not have an SSN or an ITIN. Does he need one?

@laurambartholome  assuming that you are US citizen/Resident(Green Card), while in your return click the personal info tab and you should see all the info about each of you  -- you your dependents etc. You should be able to change the SSN of your daughter here.  If you using a desktop version then you can also go to forms mode ( top right hand "forms" icon  or use the view button and from the dropdown select  forms mode); then  from the list of forms select the   XXXXX ( name of your daughter) personal worksheet -- you can make  changes herein.

Why do you have to change the SSN  -- what did you use  in 2018?   Also , since your husband is a non-US person, under some circumstances you could be "considered  unmarried " and therefore if you are maintaining  a household for a minor child, you could file as Head-of-Household ( larger  standard deduction)

If you husband does not have any intention of having his world income taxed by the USA, then perhaps  there is no need for him to get an ITIN ( it is only used for  taxfiling -- there is no other benefit ).

Is there more I can do for you?
