Your software is broken. It's calculating my child tax credits at $0, dependent care credit at $0, and charging station credit at $0.

I'm unable to talk to someone in support to address this issues? Interesting. So now you have my data...

Make sure you have entered your child as a dependent in My Info, and that you have entered the child's Social Security number.    Careful— do not say that your child’s SSN is not valid for employment.  If your child was born in 2024 make sure you said he lived with you the whole year.  There is an oddly worded question that asks if the child paid over half their own support.  Say NO to that question.

Make sure you have entered all of your W-2's, self-employment income and any other income.  Refundable child-related credits are based on your income from working.

For the childcare credit---make sure all of your income from working has been entered.  The credit does not work unless you have entered income from W-2's or self-employment.

For the child tax credit and dependent care credit, you should double check all of your entries related to your child or children.  Something may be incorrect that is causing you to not qualify for those credits.  Pay close attention to the birthdates to be sure they are accurate.

For the charging station credit, it is very common that this credit is disallowed based on a tentative minimum tax (alternative minimum tax).  Even though you may not be subject to Alternative Minimum Tax, it is calculated at the same time as the regular income tax.  The tentative minimum tax is compared to your regular income tax on Form 8911.  If the tentative minimum tax is greater than the regular tax, then the Form 8911 credit is disallowed.

Even though Form 8911 will not be included as part of your tax return because the credit is disallowed, you should be able to specify Form 8911 to be printed or previewed from the Print Center using TurboTax Online to take a look at the details.  If Form 8911 line 17 is greater than line 16, then the credit is disallowed.
