Wrong 2024 standard deduction for filing single

When completing my 2024 taxes using TurboTax it is using $17,900 as the standard deduction for filing single. However, the 2024 standard deduction for single taxpayers is $14,600. I have no way to correct it in the software. I am younger than 60 and not legally blind.

The TurboTax help section for standard deductions even says $14,600.

Are you 65 or older or legally blind?    Check the date of birth you entered in MY INFO.  Or.....did you enter enough itemized deductions to exceed your standard deduction?   Did you enter mortgage interest, property tax, medical expenses, charity donations...?

The standard deduction makes some of your income “tax free.”  It is not a refund.  You will see your standard or itemized deduction amount on line 12 of your 2024 Form 1040.

2024 STANDARD DEDUCTION AMOUNTS

SINGLE $14,600    (65 or older/legally blind + $1950)

MARRIED FILING SEPARATELY            $14,600    (65 or older/legally blind + $1550)

MARRIED FILING JOINTLY $29,200    (65 or older/legally blind + $1550)

HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD $21,900    (65 or older/legally blind + $1950)

Check if you are getting Itemized Deductions on Schedule A instead of the Standard Deduction.

No, I'm younger than 65 and I am not legally blind. My itemized deductions were much less than standard deduction. Yes, my birthdate is correct.

The software is using $17,900 and not $14,600.

Where are you seeing 17,900?  The Standard Deduction is on 1040 line 12.  Could you be looking at the wrong line?  Or is a summary or review screen saying it?

Thank you everyone for responding. I declared a disaster loss (in a federally declared disaster zone) while itemizing deductions. Although I claimed the standard deduction it still included the disaster loss and added it to the standard deduction.
