Working as both self employed and part time employee

I have been self-employed for over 20 years and have received 1099s for this work.  I have a dedicated space for my office and have been able to deduct office expenses.  I will continue to be self-employed for 2020 but I have also been asked to become a part-time employee for a client for a project that will take a couple of months.  So, they will be issuing me a W2 next year.  If I am working on multiple projects at the same time in the home office, both as a part-time employee and as self-employed, will I still be able to deduct home office expenses or does the part-time job disqualify me for doing so.

If you use your home office to do work for your part-time job, you may violate the exclusive use criterion which allows you to deduct your home office.
