Why isn't Mortgage Insurance premiums (PMI) deductions in the turbo tax software for tax year 2017? How do I claim PMI using Turbo Tax? There is no entry field for it.

The deduction expired at the end of 2016, and was only reinstated by Congress a few days ago.  It will likely take 2-4 weeks for the IRS to prepare new forms and instructions and reprogram their computers, and to then authorize tax software providers to update their own software.  We have no official time table yet.  You can wait, or file without the deduction and amend later.
