Why is TurboTax saying I have had a lapse in my high deductible health plan when I never had a lapse in coverage?

If you did not have an HSA in 2022, then answer NONE.

If you had an HSA but did not contribute to your spouse's HSA in 2022, then answer NONE. (Remember that each of you can have an HSA).

If you was covered by an HDHP policy for each month of 2020, then answer NONE.

In all likelihood, your spouse has the HSA (and not you), so you never went through the HSA interview to tell TurboTax that you had HDHP coverage, so TurboTax go confused and thought that maybe your coverage "lapsed". Sound familiar? If so, see first paragraph.

What section are these questions in?  I think i filled everything out correctly but it still asks why my spouse had a lapse in coverage.  I had a Family HDHP with HSA.  The HSA is in my name

The HSA questions are located under Deductions and Credits, Medical section. Be certain to answer all the questions in the section.
