Why is TurboTax is randomly asking "did Amy's high deductible health plan coverage lapse in 2022 due to disability?" when I was covered all of 2022 by my husband's HDHP.?

It wants me to answer either "Yes, the coverage ended due to disability" or "No, the coverage ended for other reasons" ...but my coverage never ended, I was covered year-round.

If you husband had a Family HDHP Plan, you would select 'None' when asked about your HDHP plan, since you are covered under his plan.

Here's more info on HDHP Plans.

Got it!! The wording of that question was definitely confusing in a world where there are tax implications of you go uninsured. Thanks for clarifying. That solved my problem.

I have the same question.  My family and I are covered under a health plan provided by my wife's former employer.  I get this question: What type of HDHP did Jeremy have on Dec. 1, 2021?  I answer "none."  Then the next question asks what type of plan my wife had, and I answer "family."  Then Turbotax asks did my wife's HDHP lapse in 2022 due to disability and notes that TurboTax sees that she had a lapse of coverage.  What?  She had no lapse.  This makes no sense!
