Why is turbo tax allowing deduction of car registration fees when I live in Texas?

I can't find anywhere that says these fees are deductible in Texas, yet turbo tax is allowing.  Am I actually allowed to deduct?

No, car registration fees in Texas are based on the vehicle's weight, not the value, so they don't qualify for a deduction. In the section for car registration fees, if you click on Learn More, you will see the link to the states which qualify. See the screenshot below.
