Why does the system say my "charitable contribution has an unacceptable value"?

I'm trying submit my federal return, but keep getting the "needs review" message. It takes me to the Form 1040 worksheet and says, "Charitable contribution has an unacceptable value." I donated less than 100 last year so I tried to enter zero and received the same message, then 150 and again the same message. I have been using turbotax for years and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Ideas?

This was an known issue that has now been resolved.   You have to do all of these steps to make it work correctly:

  1. Click Deductions and Credits
  2. Select Review/Edit
  3. Click Edit to the right of Standard Deduction Click OK, Sounds Good
  4. Click Wrap Up Tax Breaks
  5. Click Continue
  6. Make sure that dollar amount is filled in and then click Continue
  7. Click Lets Keep Going

What you've suggested does not work on the Mac version of turbotax. To start there is no option to "review/edit" only "Update" and there is also no option to "wrap up tax breaks". Any suggestion for the Mac version? Thanks.
