Why are there so many tax products? This really feels like an elaborate scam.
I purchased the desktop application (well, the TurboTax product on offer at my local Costco), and it only gave me the option to mail my extension(!? angry face emoji).
I logged into turbotax online; it shows my purchase and registration of the application, but makes me fill out all the basic information AGAIN, rather than communicating with the application, but does allow me to file electronically.
(I haven't even logged into he mobile app this year, but it give me notifications consistent with both the desktop and web activity)
Why does intuit make taxes more Kafka-esque than they need to be?
