Where should I report my pensions paid from government and institute in foreign country?

I am wondering which section is better for filing, Foreign earned income exclusion or Miscellaneous income.

You report your foreign pension under less common income. You do not qualify for foreign earned income exclusion if you are residing in USA

  • Open your TurboTax Desktop
  • Click on Wages and Income
  • Click on the less common income
  • Click on Miscellaneous income
  • Click on other reportable income
  • Enter the foreign pension
