Keep scrolling down on that page and choose Change how I enter my form (this is the recommended way to enter a 1098). Rocket is not one of our import partners, apparently :(
Enter Rocket as the lender name and TurboTax will ask for the pertinent details from the form and calculate the mortgage interest deduction.
If you don't have your Form 1098, that's OK. You can get your mortgage info by going to your lender’s website (Rocket) and downloading or printing it.
You can choose how to enter your 1098:
- If your lender is a TurboTax partner, you can import your Form 1098. Search for your bank or financial institution and enter your login credentials to begin the import process
- If you prefer to upload a copy of your form from your device, or type in the info yourself, select Change how I enter my form and follow the instructions on the next screens. If your lender is not a partner, this is the only option. When you enter the form manually, there is NO chance of import errors....
