Where do I report interest income as a mortgage holder?

To report interest from a seller-financed mortgage, 

  • In your Federal Return, choose the tab for Wages & Income
  • Scroll down to the topic Interest and Dividends (you may have to click Add more income and See more income to view this topic) and click Show more
  • Choose the Start button next to the topic Interest from Seller-Financed Loans
