Where do I deduct moving expenses if I have retired from overseas work and moved back to the US?

The TT Moving Expenses section only lets you enter expenses if you have moved for a new job.  So, it won't work for overseas retirees who are eligible to deduct moving expenses.

A note in the moving expenses section of TT says: "If you are a retiree or survivor living outside the US, and you moved to a home in the US . . . you may deduct moving expenses for a move to a new home in the US when you actually retire if both your old principal workplace and your old home were outside the US."

I don't see anywhere in TT where I can enter these moving expenses.

Once you are in your return in TurboTax:

Click on moving expenses

Say "yes" to work-related moving expenses

Enter the name of the city you lived

On the next screen click "none of the above" for reasons you moved

Click continue and click Yes that you qualify as a retiree, etc.
