Where are the settings to change from the standard deduction to the itemized deduction manually?

When I scroll to the bottom of the "deduction and credits" section and hit continue, the program does not give the option to change back to the itemized deduction.  Where is this setting so that I can change it manually (since the instructions on Intuit.com are wrong)?

These instructions (as I mentioned in the question details) do not work.  Please provide me with instructions that I asked for.

Depending you what you have entered in the Wages & Income section and the Deductions & Credits section it may be several screens before you land on the screen showing the amount of Standard and Itemized Deduction after you click on Continue in the Deductions & Credit section -

After you complete the Deductions and Credits section using the desktop editions, there will be 3 or 4 screen asking questions.  Then you will land on the screen showing your type of deduction based on your entries -

See DoninGA's info in his latest comment above, which includes an image from the desktop version.  Or if for some reason you can't get that screen, see if you can make the selection that you want this way:

Go into Forms Mode.  Pull up the Federal Information Worksheet (Info Wks) in the left column list.  Scroll way down to "Part VI--Additional Information for your Federal return."    Under "Standard Deduction/Itemized Deductions" see if you can indicate your preference with the boxes there.
