Nowhere on the 1099 statement does it say that any or all of box 7 is in the amount of box 1a. Because you TT program is asking for what PORTION (and not a NUMBER), how in the heck are you or your "Tax Advisor" going to determine the PORTION or NUMBER.
Someone from TT should be able to give a simple answer to this without having "us" to call our Advisor. It's your program so update the program link that only deals with foreign advisory countries.
I'm assuming Now: If your country isn't from Cuba, Iran, N. Korea, etc. ALL of box 7 (as a NUMBER) is entered here.
Answer: Just say Yes or No
